ABRAHAM LINCOLN

People give up just before the very minute they would achieve success. They give in to the urge of quitting not knowing that victory is a few inches away.
People choose to be mediocre, others choose to excel. It’s just a matter of choice. Most decided to stay at their comfort zones and not test their capabilities, hence, giving them simple and common lives. Some people may have been like President Lincoln who reached their stars after all the hard work, sleepless nights and difficulties.
But what makes that moment of success sweet is the challenges that lie between the current state of nothingness and that state of fulfillment. For sure we will encounter a lot of trials, persecution, and we may fall a hundred or even a gazillion times but we will have to stand up, bear with the wounds and scars and keep fighting. We have to keep going on. After all God never gives challenges we can’t overcome.

Me? Well, I’m in the current state of indecision. My body wants to give up because of the struggles. My mind is tired of all the disappointments. And my heart is still full of hope for an unknown future. So here I am. Still striving to be better than what I am now. For sure in the near future,  I would be a conqueror!
